Copycat Little Caesars Crazy Bread Recipe
You have got to check out my Copycat Little Caesars Crazy Bread (and sauce) Recipe! I’ve been known to devour a whole bag of Little Caesars Crazy Bread in one sitting (*gasp* – it’s true)! How can you stop at just one or two, with their warm, buttery, garlicy-goodness, dipped in their Crazy Sauce? I know I can’t! Unfortunately, for my wallet, we have a Little Caesars right down the street from where we live, and I’ll stop there every few weeks for a couple of bags of Crazy Bread (not the pizza)! Because of this, I decided to start making my own, so I can enjoy them any time I want and save myself $3.50 a pop!
Bread Stick Ingredients:
* 1 can of Pillsbury or equivalent pizza dough
* 2 tablespoons melted butter
* 1 teaspoon garlic salt
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Crazy Sauce Ingredients:
* 1 can of Pillsbury or equivalent pizza dough
* 2 tablespoons melted butter
* 1 teaspoon garlic salt
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
How To Make The Bread Sticks:
Heat oven to 425º. Pop open a can of Pillsbury pizza dough (or, homemade if you prefer) and unroll the dough on a lightly floured surface. You’ll want to slice the dough lengthwise into fine strips, about 8-10. Place on a cookie sheet lightly sprayed with Pam and then bake for 6-8 minutes. Melt butter and garlic salt together, then brush the bread sticks all around with the mixture and finally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. And, try to share with others in your household
How To Make The Sauce:
* 1 can Hunts tomato paste (or equivalent)
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teasppoon pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
* 1/4 teaspoon oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
Over medium heat, combine all ingredients, uncovered. When the sauce starts to bubble, simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
